Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool team. As a Float Pool LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a variety of patients across our healthcare system. You will work in a fast-paced environment, floating to different units and departments as needed, and will be expected to adapt quickly to new situations and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, performing routine tasks, and assisting with procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. Our Float Pool LPNs will float to our sister hospital in Leavenworth, KS - Saint John Hospital; however, mileage will be paid between the two hospitals.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. Current and valid state license
  2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Minimum one-year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
  4. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
  5. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire.
