Fluid Dynamics Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated part time Fluid Dynamics Analyst with a strong background in aerodynamics and simulation to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and optimizing aerodynamic components for our next-generation aircrafts, ensuring superior performance, efficiency, and safety.
This will be a contract role with biannual remuneration as well as company equity. Selected applicants will be evaluated for the role of Chief Technology Officer in the company with higher benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on fluid dynamics and aerodynamics.
• Proven experience in CFD simulations and aerodynamic analysis, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in using CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and aerodynamics principles.
• Experience with wind tunnel testing and experimental validation of CFD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.

• Conduct detailed fluid dynamics and aerodynamic analyses using advanced simulation tools and software.
• Develop and refine computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models to simulate and predict the performance of aircraft components under various conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to integrate aerodynamic solutions into the overall aircraft design.
• Analyze and interpret simulation results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for design improvements.
• Optimize aerodynamic shapes and configurations to enhance performance, reduce drag, and improve fuel efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and simulation technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
