Description:

Position within: Food & Beverage Airport - Service
Reports to: Senior Food & Beverage Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: F&B Management

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Oversee daily operations of the F & B outlets located Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum Airport (DWC)thereby ensuring that customers are always provided with excellent level of service while making sure that the outlets are profitable to the company.
Promote sales and assign operational functions to respective staff to ensure best results and smooth running of the lounges and outlets. (24 Business Units)
Coordinate with the Production Department regarding menus, food quality and other kitchen-related matters and ensure that the best quality of food is served to the customers.
Propose new menus for the outlets (in coordination with Production) within defined budgets, recommend selling prices, rotate/change menus and introduce new products to promote sales.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints about food quality and/or service by taking remedial actions immediately.
Operates all functions from his/her office and frequently visits all the outlets to ensure that the quality of food and beverage served is of the best standards.
Prepare & submit the annual CAPEX and staff budget for DGMACS*s approval.
Coordinate with Purchasing for procuring equipment, materials for the outlets and with W&D for procuring food / other items already in stock.
Ensure staffing of required positions, monitor staff performance with emphasis on professional development to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently in compliance with established KPIs.
Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 international standards and executes all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Minimum Qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Catering and/or Hotel Management or equivalent qualification. Should have extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage Management.
Should have excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships. Should be task oriented with excellent hotel and catering background and experience. Should be highly motivated, a team leader with good organizing skills. Fluency in English is a must.
Minimum 5 years prior experience if completed graduation or 7 years* experience if completed Diploma
