Description:

The Ardilaun hotel is currently recruiting for a server in both the Camilaun Restaurant and Blazer’s Bar & Bistro. The team welcome applications from friendly and outgoing servers with excellent customer service skills. The Camilaun position entails serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hotel’s formal dining room. On the other hand, the Bistro role includes bar duties and food service.
A crucial aspect of this job is the need for flexibility to work shifts during the midweek mornings and afternoons.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant or similar role
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Have a fluency in both written and oral English
Have excellent attention to detail
Be flexible in hours of work as shift work is involved
Have good communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities:

Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that tables are set properly and that all guests are seated comfortably
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, needs and complaints, resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner
Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, such as coffee and tea
Maintain a good working knowledge of all menu items, promotions and events, and be able to effectively communicate this information to guests
Ensure that the bar area is kept clean and organized at all times
Other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.
