Description:
Job Description
1. Plans, organizes, assigns, and supervises the staff in food preparation and service.
2. Observes quality of food service and give instructions to maintenance of high standards.
3. Develops and prepares menus according to sound dietary principles.
4. Promotes and coordinates catering/banquet service activities
5. Recommends menus to customers.
6. Develops, prepares, and prices menus to satisfy customers’ desires.
7. Works as necessary to insure customer satisfaction.
8. Reviews inventory and purchases food supplies as required.
9. Assigns and trains personnel and determines work schedules.
Requirement
1. Minimum 2 years relevant experience
2. knowledge of food production methods.
3. Customer service, communication and interpretation skill
4. Leadership and organisational skill
5. Able to motivate and manage staff
6. Able to accept criticism and work well under pressure
7. Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situation
