About the role
Stamford Grand Adelaide has an exciting opportunity for a logical, enthusiastic, service driven professional to join the food and beverage team, predominantly based in the iconic Grand Bar. We seek a mature, results driven person who can warmly welcome all guests, regardless of whether they’re visiting the Grand Bar for a beer with mates, dinner with family, attending a special occasion or to enjoy the regular live entertainment.
To be successful in this role, you’ll be required to demonstrate strong and consistent leadership, take a positive proactive approach with colleagues to exceed the guest experience. You will enjoy driving business opportunities through both innovative campaigns and strong budget/roster management, you must be able to identify and eliminate poor standards via clear communication and negotiation skills.
Reporting to the Venue Manager into the Food and Beverage Manager.
Core Functions of your role
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration
Along with Human Resource recruit team members
Manage the roster in line with the Enterprise Agreement and labour laws
Performance manage as per internal policy, coach and develop for succession planning
Oversee expenses inclusive of stock, labour and general expense items along with the Venue Manager
Achieve budgeted targets through monitoring product, inventory control, wastage and other operational costs
Compliance with all statutory, WH&S standards, procedures, and processes
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enhance operational performance and service standards
About you
Be an honest, motivational and inspiring leader, able to develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional service experience every time
Current industry RSA and RPB qualifications
Available for weekends and nights shifts
Focused attention to detail, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
