Description:

We are currently looking for a Food Safety & Quality Coordinator for our client in Melbourne. Our client is one of the leading organisations that is re-inventing the food supply chain and providing customised experiences. Your main duties include maintain of licenses related to HACCP company, Issue and maintain of import permits, spec check and label verification based on FSANZ Food Standard Code, and responding to product complaints and recalls. This is a permanent full-time role for our client’s office to help them grow and support their customer’s needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, quality assurance or similar.
  • Min of 2 years or more experience in food supply chain or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions.
  • Great attention to detail and proficiency in managing and analysing data.
  • Strong independent work ethic, taking ownership of difficult issues and finding solutions.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Full working rights in Australia on permanent basis

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and update supplier information
  • Collect and update product information and HACCP Plan
  • Research new regulation and implementation
  • Product label check/ creation for Australia market
  • Apply, update, maintain for all license, which is related for food, import etc.
  • In case of product complaint and health hazard, arrange and conduct product inspection and lab test
  • Conduct supplier audit
  • Fill out supplier questionnaire, which is requested from customer.
  • Provide product information, etc.
  • Approval of new supplier and new item
  • Establish, update and implementation for all food safety manuals, SOPs and record forms.
  • Review all food safety documents every year.
  • Conduct HACCP and food safety record verification monthly.
  • Review and evaluate the inspection report and support for the business.
  • Evaluate each complaint and manage all complaint case.
  • Evaluate the investigation report and make decision for the case closure.
  • Create a Product Complaint Trend Report every year.
  • Make decision of product recall and implementation for the recall at affected branch.
  • Communicate with government authority.
  • Evaluate the investigation report and make decision for the case closure.
  • Checking food labels and complying with import regulations.
