  • Science/ Food Science Qualification Essential – Diploma level at a minimum.
  • Minimum 1 years QA/QC experience in Food Manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Computer literate
  • Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication and organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail, problem solver and have an aptitude for informed decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the sites Food Safety & Quality Management systems and all associated procedures, policies and records.
  • Ensure products produced meet specification through internal monitoring procedures and product assessments.
  • Responsibility for
  • Product specifications.
  • Quality System documentation required for handling and managing product quality, including Spec (QAS) for in-house SOP’s & QC documentation.
  • Responsible for daily completion of product attribute records.
  • Nutrional information for products produced – calculation and/or analysis as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Product Quality Inspection points are being effectively optimised to improve product quality awareness throughout the business and ensure a consistent product quality approach is achieved.
  • Co-ordinate customer complaints investigation, liaising with relevant stakeholders both internal and external, including the consumer to successfully close-out.
  • Non-conformance reporting and corrective action implementation.
  • Completion of CCP verification checks.
  • Ensure full product traceability is maintained at all stages of the process.
  • Attend all meetings as request by direct report and engage positively and contribute to same.
  • Completion of Project work as directed by the Food Safety and Quality Team to improve Food Safety and Quality initiatives within the Musgrave business.
  • Responsible for the completion and follow-up of records including but not limited to:
  • Daily Shift Report.
  • Daily Product Quality Attributes.
  • HACCP records check/sign/file and update.
  • Internal Audits
  • Hygiene Audits

  • Glass & Perspex Checks
  • Product Change-Over Checks
  • Label Checks
  • Weight Checks
  • Water Temp Checks-Hand Washing Sinks
