Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Food Services Worker to join the Food Services team working out of Richmond Community Health Services in Richmond, BC. The successful candidate will be self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting. They will have a strong work ethic and be motivated to join a team that prides itself on creating a safe and respectful environment for staff, patients, residents, families, and visitors.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Successful completion of Food Safe Certificate Level 1.
• Grade 10 plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.

  The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
