You will be required to meet SPC’s employment criteria which will include pre-employment screening (this may include drug & alcohol testing and Functional testing).

Responsibilities:

  • New meal solutions developed from ideation through to implementation and launch.
  • Develop meal solutions that are technically feasible in the supply chain network and meet FSANZ and ACCC regulations.
  • Develop meal solutions to meet specific aged care, hospital and special dietary requirements.
  • Rapid prototyping of product design options to assess customer and consumer acceptance using appropriate research methods.
  • Develop experimental trial plans to test and validate new product designs and specifications.
  • Develop and implement ingredient and product specifications across the portfolio and ensure specifications are kept up to date.
  • Maintain knowledge of new ingredients, culinary trends and technologies relevant to SPC through Mintel, NPD launches in retail & food service, suppliers, industry expos etc.
  • Develop knowledge of nutritional trends and the regulatory environment.
  • Develop concepts for presentation to Sales & Marketing that drive forward our thinking in culinary and nutritional trends.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Engagement with NPD team and external and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Continually drive own personal development through application of robust development plan
