The Foreign Trade Analyst will be a key piece in the development of MAHLE in foreign trade issues that go hand in hand in the commitments established with the different clients in a timely manner, likewise, it will be an important piece for the fulfillment of the obligations of MAHLE with the different government agencies that regulate foreign trade, achieving effective control and precisely avoiding any risk to the business.
The Foreign Trade Analyst at MAHLE must have effective and respectful communication towards all levels both inside and outside the organization (suppliers and customers) with the intention of achieving the best results through collaboration and the best decision-making.

YOUR SKILLS & STRENGTHS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Customs, or related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • 3+ years in similar position (Automotive Industry).
  • Management and Experience in Customs Systems.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.
  • Advanced analysis capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects related to the control of annex 24 and 30.
  • Follow-up with departments associated with changes in material structures to identify discrepancies that affect the results in Annex 24 and Annex 30.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with the different departments to continue with the correct control of processes and results.
  • Monitoring the development of new plans and/or strategies to improve established processes.
  • Maintenance, implementation, and timely monitoring of improvements to the annex 24 system in conjunction with the system provider.
  • Periodic audits in conjunction with the team assigned to the information production base (customs operation) to confirm the correct filling of the database and confirm against Data Stage.
  • Comparisons of the ERP system vs Annex 24 to identify all opportunities for improvement in a timely manner, as well as the differences in information between both databases that may affect the veracity of the information in day-to-day customs operations.
  • Analyze and solve consumption after unloading of materials.
  • Direct support in projects of new applications and renewals of certifications of the department (CTPAT, OEA, CIVA, etc).
  • Coordinate together with the assigned team all the tasks before the fulfillment of the obligation by period for the correct maintenance of annex 30 (Control System of Credit and Guarantee Accounts).
  • Effective communication with customs brokers, consultants, and carriers.
  • Day-to-day operation of foreign trade (monitoring of documentation for customs clearance, openings, closings of both consolidated and individual pedimentos).
