Forklift Operator / Freight Officer

Centurion in Carnarvon is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our operations departments on a casual basis. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and manoeuvring of general freight correctly and safely around our warehouse. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating a forklift to load and move freight in a safe and timely manner around the warehouse
• Processing various types of freight from beginning to end
• Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for all freight
• Preparation of freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for storage or dispatch

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Prior experience in a logistics warehousing environment
• Load restraint use and knowledge
• Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
• Scanning experience
• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
