We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Woodstock, ON. Your responsibility will be to accurately and quickly servicing a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. Fittings Pickers are required to work in all climate conditions, must be capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly, must possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as being prepared to meet any challenge. Must have a positive attitude and work well with others.
Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Completion of a high-school Diploma (OSSD)
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Skilled in handling opposing priorities and problem solving under minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must have necessary certifications for specific machinery, Counterbalance, Reach Truck
Responsibilities:
- Be able to operate forklift equipment effectively and safely;
- Accurately pick, stage and load freight;
- Execute work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met;
- Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets;
- Load/unload Dry Van trucks;
- Maintain a strict housekeeping standards;
- Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis;
- Commit to the success of the team.
- Report safety and security issues to your direct supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- Communicate stock errors and discrepancies clearly and effectively with team members
