We are looking for a Forwarding Coordinator for international deliveries to join our logistics center.
Forwarding coordinator is taking care of Valmet Services daily shipments and variety of project shipments by air, sea, or road. You will follow delivery schedules and scope and prepare all necessary documents for export deliveries (invoice, packing lists, certificates and others as required in destination). In addition, you will prepare documents required with letter of credit, export collection or other special payment terms. You are the main contact for internal and external customers in forwarding related matters. Primary location is Jyväskylä.
Our expectations to you
To be successful in this position you need to be a true team player and have skills for building up a strong contact network. Our operating environment is dynamic and fast-paced and thus, we expect organizing skills and abilities to solve problems quickly. We are looking for a customer-oriented person who can make decisions also under pressure.
The position requires 5 years of recent experience in the field of export business and international shipping. We also expect prior experience on operating with letter of credit, export collection or other special payment terms experience on dangerous goods handling, shipping, documentation preparation and packing.
In addition, to succeed in this position, we expect you to have technical or commercial education (min. Bachelor’s Degree). Fluent written and spoken communication in Finnish and English are also required. Your software skills include MS Office, Outlook, Sharepoint and you need to have recent experience with ERP: Infor LN, Valmet Transport Gateway (VTG) and VLS to be successful in this position. Willingness to act in a key user role is considered as an advantage.
