In 2022, Bexley Fostering service established an exciting new team, Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team. The Team is dedicated to the retention, recruiting and assessing of prospective foster carers and host and support providers to ensure they provide safe and nurturing environments for our children. The Team meticulously evaluates candidates through thorough background checks, interviews, and home assessments to ensure they meet the highest standards of care and once approved offer continued support. Our goal is to build a supportive network of compassionate individuals committed to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
You will be a central part of the flexible team including being available to work some unsocial hours and undertake some weekend working when needed.
Bexley is an outer London Borough with the best of both worlds, located between the hustle and bustle of London and the Garden of England, Kent. Within the borough we have award winning parks, open spaces and listed heritage sites.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our fostering team as a Fostering Recruitment & Statistical Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the recruitment process of foster carers and host and support providers, ensuring we build a supportive network of compassionate individuals committed to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Qualifications and experience
Knowledge and experience working in foster care recruitment.
