Foundation (F2) level Trust Grade Doctor in Surgical Specialties

We have exciting opportunities for an FY2 doctor to share responsibility for patients under trauma & orthopaedics consultants with the other FY2 doctors and supported by middle grade staff for each speciality. The post holder will be required to cover other specialities; General surgery and urology, out of hours.
This post is fixed term contract initially up to 6 months potentially extendable by mutual agreement.
It is essential that candidates have core competencies of Foundation Year Two, relevant experience within orthopaedics and have GMC registration with a licence to practice. Good team working skills and an excellent command of English are also essential. NHS experience is preferred.
You will be expected to carry out a range of tasks including history taking, examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making, safe prescribing and medical record-keeping etc across the the following specialities General surgery, urology and trauma & orthopaedics. The post holder will have some choice about choice of specialities (or rotations between specialities) but will be required to cover all specialities out of hours.
