Description:

ABOUT HEYSTEFAN!:

heyStefan! is Germany’s first career platform specifically for tax clerks (Steuerfachangestellten). We believe that tax workers (Steuerfachkraft) are an important, under-appreciated labor group within Germany’s greater skilled labor shortage (Fachkräftemangel).
At heyStefan!, our mission is to help tax clerks find better job opportunities that fit their personal and professional aspirations. We are not the average recruiter, headhunter, or agency. Instead of a volume approach based on sending candidates to the first open position, or spamming tax advisories with piles of loosely vetted CVs, we strategically and purposefully match tax clerks with positions and firms that enable them to flourish and grow.
We are looking for a Founder’s Associate Intern to support our founding team with day-to-day work and research. You will be reporting to the co-founders directly. This is a unique opportunity to learn and participate in the inner workings of an early-stage venture. A strong intern has the potential to be converted into a full-time employee. The position is in-person, in our Berlin office.
If you are available, kindly reach out with your CV and a short cover letter outlining why you are interested in the opportunity.

Tasks

  • Lead candidate onboarding process through coordinating initial interviews, preparing

candidate CVs, and analyzing candidate preferences and characteristics

  • Maintain and innovate upon firm outreach efforts and open position tracking strategy
  • Design and develop creative materials for performance marketing campaigns and tax-related content across social media channels
  • Explore potential partnership opportunities and new customer acquisition channels
  • Conduct deeper research into selected topics and opportunities, such as researching other areas of the skilled labor shortage (Fachkräftemangel) that we are interested in
  • Assist with other new and ongoing initiatives, as they may arise

Requirements

  • You have a passion for entrepreneurship, and ideally an interest or background in tax, job placement services or recruiting
  • You must be fluent in English and German
  • You are willing to work 40 hours/week for at least 3 (ideally 6) months
  • Experience with CRM/database tools
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion
  • Ideally, you have completed at least one prior internship in a relevant field (i.e. start-up,

recruiting, marketing, consulting or similar)

Benefits

  • Centrally located office space
