Role: FP&A Analyst

Limelight is looking for a FP&A Analyst with experience in planning, forecasting, and reporting to join our team! This a great opportunity to combine your finance and technical knowledge.
Our cloud financial planning, forecasting & reporting platform automates manual spreadsheet processes so businesses can spend more time on data insights. As an FP&A Analyst, you will work closely with key stakeholders in finance (CFO, VP, Director, Controller) to connect their strategic goals to FP&A model design. You must have a deep understanding of the FP&A planning/reporting process, knowledge of metrics that Finance leaders hold their business accountable to, and challenges at all levels within the FP&A function. Intimate knowledge of financial statements is a must.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years experience in Financial Analysis
  • 3+ years of consulting experience
  • Experience with building planning, forecasting and reporting models
  • Strong finance and modeling background
  • Exceptional communication skills with clients and internal team members
  • Project management is an asset
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
  • Focused on relationship building and client centricity
  • Having worked with ERP or other FP&A products is a value-add

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients’ Finance leadership teams to uncover where improvements can be made within their FP&A processes and to understand what outcomes their strategy is targeting
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions to extract the functional requirements
  • Translate functional requirements from design sessions to develop the model
  • Create and test reports within Limelight to support the delivery and implementation of the project
