Your role at Clorox:
Reports to the FP&A Director – MENA. Responsible for working closely with and provide Finance business partnership and commercial support to the Clorox Gulf commercial and operational teams and MENA Finance Team. This position is responsible for managing the Management Accounting as well as the Planning, Analysis and Forecasting functions as well as the co-ordination and preparation of the monthly and quarterly management accounting packages for Gulf business. The incumbent is also responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of the budget as well as all subsequent forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
The role is hybrid (min 3 days a week in the office) and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead preparation of annual and quarterly forecasts (as well as long range plans), including variance analysis and management reports, set and manage all forecast calendars ensuring required inputs are accurately embedded in the financial forecasts within established timetables.
  • Complete monthly reports of actual performance versus forecast and identify/ research key drivers of variances.
  • Drive preparation of analysis/ evaluations of the financial impact of business proposals including new product introductions, pricing actions, SKU rationalization, margin enhancing initiatives, promotions and select customization using established tools and procedures.
  • Prepare specialized financial analysis to support cross-functional teams’ understanding of key drivers in its P&L (e.g. trade and marketing spend, volume/ mix/ assortment, cost savings)
  • Drive deep dive analysis on trade spend by Channel, customer, category, and SKU. Provide insightful recommendation to the commercial team and highlights risks to the plan. Stays on top of tracked sending and challenges overspend situations.
  • Plays a pivotal role in understanding the current trajectory of the business, external and internal challenges and can explain to senior leadership and provide a clear recommendation on how to steer ahead.
  • Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiency with focus on increasing automation.
  • Successfully support the planning tools and analysis associated with the full product portfolio.
  • Understand different aspects of a distributor model and related go to market, price structure, trade promo, deman planning and channel strategy
  • Ability to synthesize data on inventory management and understand full end to end supply and demand planning
  • Plan and analyze inventory costing and co-pack operations

What we look for:

  • 4 - 6 years of professional work experience in FP&A, Finance & Accounting (preferably FMCG/Multional environment)with focus on FP&A in last 2-3 years
  • Experience on successfully managing large and diverse teams.
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills is a must. Power BI is preferred.
  • Business Analytics and Forecasting Tools (Anaplan and Power BI preferred)
  • Expert communicator and good public speaking skills preferred.
  • Good command of English language (Writing and Verbal)
  • Deep knowledge of financial analysis and strong analytical skills
  • Strong management reporting experience
  • Ability to influence, and drive change
  • Ability to interact with functional area management and executive levels in the organization

  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of the Gulf trade landscape would be an advantage (FMCG experience)
