Description:

The FP&A Manager will be dedicated to MedTech sector and will partner with Finance leader of the South East Asia cluster in enabling Business Unit Finance’s success in Planning & Updates, Reporting, and Analytics as well as cluster controlling activities. This role will be critical in developing relationships with key stakeholders within the Business Unit Finance team as well as relevant Business Partners to ensure their FP&A needs are being met.
The Manager will supervise a team of 3 analysts and be responsible for coaching, providing feedback and developing the necessary FP&A skills of the analysts. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing critical outputs / work products produced by the Analysts and forging internal collaboration across the team to ensure high service delivery.
The FP&A manager will also business partner with SEA functional leads and will take a responsibility for the controllership of the SEA regional office.
The FP&A manager will play a pivotal role in the simplification & standardization initiatives as well as SigniFi transformation. You will ensure appropriate standardization of FP&A activities within the cluster and will support Regional FP&A Director in identifying and evaluating opportunities to refine and enhance the global standards. You will play a critical change management role in the journey to SigniFi, as well as serve a key role in implementing and refining new FP&A capabilities for the MedTech Asia Pac team.
The FP&A manager will work closely with other tiers of Finance to maintain an understanding of the broader P&L. Your core understanding of the FP&A process, as well as your ability to take ownership for performance and development of others, will be vital to the success of the MedTech Asia Pac team as a whole.

Key Activities:

  • FP&A activities
  • Business partnering with functional leads / SEA regional office finance management
  • Business Plan and Monthly/Quarterly Update Support
  • Standard and ad-hoc reporting and analytics execution
  • Standardization / SigniFi / Capability Build
  • Drive Global & Regional FP&A standards / digital capabilities within the MedTech Asia Pac group
  • Lead SigniFi transformation journey in SEA
  • Support the FP&A Director on standardization efforts
  • Develop business acumen within self & team to improve business insights
  • Issue/Query Management
  • Prioritization / primary review of deliverables within the FP&A team

  • SEA Finance Director and SEA BUF team
  • Regional FP&A Director and regional FP&A team
  • Regional supply chain finance
  • SEA functional leads

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance-related discipline
  • CPA, CMA or other financial certification will be advantageous
  • At least 8 years of relevant finance experience. FP&A experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of general finance/accounting processes.
  • Strong influencer, independent thinking, strong planning/prioritization and process orientated mindset are critical to success.
  • Passion for people development and talent management is critical.
  • Experienced professional with strong communication skills who can interact with senior management is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required.
