About the team
FP&A Programme Management Team is established to drive a standard process & technical framework with their partners that works and supports Diageo to keep up market leader position.
The team is also accountable for the delivery of business strategic change programmes, driving value through common processes and using technologies and the deployment of lean, global, and compliant ways of working across Diageo in a more consistent and efficient manner.

The role

  • Act as FP&A project SME in any type of projects impacting Finance process areas
  • Lead or support the FP&A Lead with analyse and design for global priority projects from finance perspective and delivers end to end, which will include SBMs, Productivity projects, M&As, global change projects and Finance initiatives
  • Act as guardian of the Finance Processes globally and constantly seek and lead the improvement of the Global framework
  • Support the business partners, supports in the areas of process, information, and data analysis within finance
  • Provide subject matter expertise to define, operate and analyse the outcome of the global measurement system and ensure that right controls are built into the process governance that is govern
  • Work with Financial Controllers, FP&A Leads and Core Governance teams, Business Partners, and Project Directors to build and submit business cases for evaluation
  • In Transitions - lead and build good relationship with stakeholder across Diageo and Outsourcing Partners to ensure that they are aware of the Projects
  • Controls and compliance – Define right controls regarding change agenda and embed into global business processes
  • Deliver seamless transitions together with the other global processes
  • Lead, coordinate, and participate in outsourcing related projects across all BS Locations
  • Identify Process Improvement opportunities and drive Process Improvement agenda

About you

  • University or College degree in finance or business
  • At least 5 years’ experience in FP&A or FC roles
  • Experience of working in a business shared service environment
  • Detailed understanding of project management and the FP&A Process overall
  • Strong system knowledge in SAP Financials.
  • Capability to craft and introduce global processes
  • Flexibility for adopting to change with positive demeanour and proven experience in change management
  • Solution focused mind-set and ability to link change agenda to strategic goals and deliver them
  • Phenomenal business partnering skills with a desire to make a difference
  • Ability to align multiple business partners
  • Excellent English
  • Power BI is an advantage
