Amer Sports is seeking a dedicated FP&A Reporting Manager to enhance our global FP&A team. In this crucial role, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and automation of our reporting infrastructure, providing essential analyses to senior leadership to optimize financial performance across segments and brands.
As the FP&A Reporting Manager, you will produce detailed reporting packages that capture insights into group, segment, and brand performance, tailored for various stakeholders. You will manage operational KPIs such as Retail Comp Store growth and collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure reports are accurate, meaningful, and timely. Your efforts will focus on continuously improving reporting processes and spearheading the implementation of a reporting automation roadmap to align with the company’s strategic goals.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Professional Attitude: Ability to work under pressure, drive support for change, and maintain a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work as part of a team and across a broad network of functions.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial concepts such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Diverse Experience: Background in budgeting, planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and project management adds value. Knowledge of overall information systems architecture is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Preparing and Delivering Financial Reports: Develop comprehensive reporting packages that provide detailed insights into the financial performance of the group, segments, and brands.
  • Developing Reporting Automation Roadmap: Define and implement a roadmap for reporting automation, in collaboration with group and brand finance leaders, IT, and analytics teams.
  • Tracking Operational KPIs: Monitor key performance indicators such as Retail Comp Store growth and Retail store count to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitating Financial Reviews: Work closely with brand leaders to conduct financial reviews, gathering relevant data and insights on segment performance.
  • Preparing Ad Hoc Reports: Generate specific reports and analyses in response to business inquiries or challenges.
  • Ensuring Reporting Accuracy: Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all reporting activities.
  • Improving Reporting Processes: Continuously enhance reporting processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Aligning Reporting with Strategic Goals: Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure that reporting efforts support the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Guiding Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance teams, ensuring their understanding of reporting requirements and methodologies.
  • Leading the Reporting Team: Oversee the reporting team’s activities and projects, ensuring excellence and alignment with overall financial and business objectives.
