About the Function
The Financial Control function takes ownership for the classification, consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks.
About the role
The FP&A Senior Analyst role will be a key business partner to one or more teams in NAM and the first point of contact for issues in those teams, as well as supporting the wider controlling process agenda.

Main responsibilities

  • Independently interacting with senior partners, both in the market and in the Shared Services Center in Bangalore;
  • Leading smooth and accurate month end closing, including accrual calculation, journal entry preparation;
  • Supporting planning and O&R forecasting;
  • Analyzing spend (actuals vs plan), identifying and acting on insights and resolving issues;
  • Handling controls and ensuring compliance, suggesting improvements and follow-up implementation
  • Preparing financial reports and presentation materials and leading meetings with senior partners
  • Working with other teams to ensure the right budget management systems support is in place and working effectively
  • Proactively identifying, designing and implementing operational improvements to drive standardization, simplification and automation.
  • Proactively improving processes and creating possibilities for further automatization - ‘Act like an Owner’

About You

  • University or College degree in Finance and Accountancy / Economics / Business
  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Controlling or FP&A
  • Excellent Business English knowledge
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Good communication and business partnering skills with senior partners
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
