Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

By collecting, analysing, and reporting on fraud data, the Fraud Data Analyst helps the team to identify, mitigate risk and reduce losses. An understand of fraud and the ability to pull data from the GCP platform is essential.

  • Utilise systems such as (GCP) Google Cloud Platform, creating SQL’s and adding the data onto a Tableau dashboard.
  • Also having access Auror, Rapid, March CCTV, Store Central & Retalix to find, highlight and present data focusing on trends and patterns of loss
  • Translate data into factual formats with precise & accurate evidence to support investigations of loss
  • Data mining to identify loss root causes and replicate this data at a national level
  • Understand AI systems across the store and utilise the data outputs to predict fraudDrive collaborative initiatives, processes and systems to be successfully embedded in end-to-end incident reduction with relevant stakeholders

Reporting to our Fraud Insights Lead, this role will flourish with the following skills/experiences:

  • 3-5 years experience in an investigations/Fraud/Loss role (data-mining or Police experience desirable, also supermarket retail experience)
  • Understanding of fraud and risk (Internal and External) from multiple perspectives
  • Knowledge of retail systems (POS, Store Central, CCTV etc) & Rapid, Scan Assist, Auror and other fraud identification systems
  • Extracting data using SQL & Google Suite, translating into Tableau formats
  • Horizontal teamwork, stakeholder engagement (internal and external)Clear, accurate and factual reportin
