JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for claims and disputes intake, review, and/or disposition of potentially suspicious transactions, events, or scenarios involving various levels of exposure. Placements may include specialized areas of focus, including but not limited to case/claims processing, claims, disputes and risk-based actions, investigative research, secondary review, customer service/advocacy, or process and work coordination (team lead). Works with various forms of technology, including transactions processing systems, risk management platforms, case management applications, and research or analytical tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of related work experience, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Well-developed research and analytical abilities
- Ability to competently work with various forms of technology, including transactions processing systems, risk management platforms, case management applications, research or analytical tools
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to follow defined procedures, policies and precedents
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate moderate problems with minimal guidance
- Must be able to perform assigned work in a deadline sensitive environment
- Competent clerical skills and strong attention to detail is necessary for all roles
