Qualifications:

• Bilingual French/English
• Demonstrated knowledge of French medical/pharmaceutical terminology
• 1-2 years of scientific proofreading experience, preferably in the agency setting
• Superior proofreading skills
• Experience using Adobe Pro and marking up PDFs
• Familiarity annotating digital proofs is an asset

ROLE

The Bilingual Proofreader will review French translations against agency materials (including but not limited to manuscripts, layouts/mechanicals, prepresses, videos, or final proofs) as required to ensure a high standard of quality and consistency across all assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct initial QC review of translated document against approved English copy and flag any discrepancies
• Proofread French assets using provided translations to correct any errors in spelling or formatting, provide feedback on missing elements, and check changes and revisions
• Compare English updates against French where necessary and adjust copy when requested using approved sources

Qualifications:
