We are building a stealth-mode startup on a mission to revolutionize the automotive aftermarket space by saving mechanics time and effort in their day-to-day jobs.
Our digital product aims to provide mechanics with the guidance and information they need, when they need it, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the workshop.
The startup is partnering with a powerful industry leader in Australia and we need you to help us deliver on the vision.
We are seeking a part-time, freelance, experienced car mechanic to support our team and co-create our digital product. This role involves using your extensive knowledge and experience to prove that our product provides useful and accurate information to other mechanics.
You will be a key player in ensuring our product meets the real-world needs of mechanics and can make a tangible difference.

THE MAGIC YOU BRING:

• Your diagnostics knowledge - this is the power we need to ensure this project is highly successful. You’ll collaborate closely with our team by giving feedback on the quality and accuracy of our product’s information
• Your problem-solving skills - especially for tricky car issues on the workshop floor. This will give the team confidence that our suggestions are realistic, appropriate, and safe
• Your curiosity - every time you are faced with a diagnostic issue you need to figure it out and start looking for root causes - you’re deeply curious about what causes the underlying issue and can help give us insights here
• Your critique - help us understand if we are giving accurate and useful advice to other mechanics around Australia when figuring out underlying issues with cars
