We are a very active modern and not for profit senior living community conveniently located in Castro Valley. We are in search of service minded individuals with the desire to make a positive impact on the residents that live within our community.
Full Time Position available:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to function in a high volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language, using proper speech and grammar
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise good judgement
  • Comfortable and proficient using technology, including Microsoft Office, other programs, and multi-line telephone

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes visitors upon entrance and addresses their requests. Presents a professional appearance and demeanor greeting everyone (residents, visitors and staff) with a smile. Announces them to residents or staff as necessary
  • Ensure all visitors check-in at the front desk. Answers questions, handles inquiries and refers to proper departments.
  • Monitors security cameras and notifies management or Alameda County Sheriff’s Office immediately of any safety/security issues, suspicious persons or illegal activities on site
  • Ability to respond when a resident emergency situation arises either via the resident’s personal emergency pendant, pull cord or phone call from resident. Serves as first point of contact for urgent resident situations. Notifies 911 emergency personnel as needed. Must be able to enter resident apartment, assess situation, and calmly relay information to 911 operators. Assists emergency personnel in gaining entrance and locating resident’s apartment when managers are not on duty.
  • Using proper telephone etiquette, receives incoming calls and transfers to appropriate departments. Checks voicemail daily and forwards to appropriate staff
  • Conduct Closing Procedures
  • Fulfill administrative work orders and resident requests
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
