Description:

DIGITAL WAFFLE IS WORKING WITH A DIGITAL SOLUTIONS PROVIDER THAT ARE NOW LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE ENGINEER, WITH A FOCUS ON FRONT END, TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN BIRMINGHAM.

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and working closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. You will be required onsite once a month in Birmingham.
Salary: From £50,000 up to £65,000 - dependant on experience
Location: Remote/Hybrid - (Office in Birmingham)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Web Developer / Front End Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web development projects
  • Expertise in modern web development technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript and React.
  • Aware of best practices in implementing functionality into UI/UX design

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing complex web applications using modern technologies and frameworks such as React.JS, TypeScript and Next.JS.
  • Experience in building mobile-optimised front-ends for websites.
  • Exposure to mobile development using React Native or other similar technologies.
  • Leading projects from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Mentoring and coaching junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet client needs
  • Providing technical guidance and leadership to the team, and contributing to the development of best practices and standards
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes
