Germany’s largest research organization, the Helmholtz Association, launched : This dedicated, interdisciplinary platform develops and promotes applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods for the Association’s main research fields (Health, Energy, Earth and Environment, Information, Space, Matter) in collaboration with its external and university partners. Its central unit operates at Helmholtz Munich in Munich.
Our mission is to enable research scientists to leverage AI methods optimally. The is focusing on Health and collaborates with researchers from the whole Association on projects on cancer and infection research, molecular medicine, as well as neurodegenerative and environmental diseases. Your tasks
- Familiarize yourself with our Oligo Designer Toolsuite and provide feedback on its ease of use.
- Design the GUI, focusing on creating an interface that is intuitive for our users.
- Implement the front-end of the package. No specific language preference, as long as it is compatible with our Python back-end.
Your profile
- Knowledgeable in the Python programming language.
- Experience in UX design.
- Basic knowledge of Version Control Systems (e.g., Git).
- A team player, comfortable in an agile working environment.
- Currently enrolled as a Master’s student.
