The Front End Developer’s primary mandate is to maintain and/or create several of the existing console applications and develop new applications in conjunction with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and/or build existing/new management console applications and mobile apps.
  • Develop and drive the UI strategy that prioritizes enhancing the user experience within the gaming applications, focusing on intuitive navigation, immersive interfaces, and streamlined payment processes.
  • Ensure UI designs comply with industry regulations and prioritize security measures, particularly regarding payment processing and customer data protection.
  • Produce/maintain prototypes and wireframes to visualize and test user interface designs.
  • Optimize UI elements for various mobile devices, considering:
  • Screen sizes
  • Resolutions
  • Touch interactions
  • Gaming environments
  • Work closely with teams such as mobile content developers, project managers, and product managers to align UI development with gaming requirements, ensuring seamless integration of other solutions with mobile platforms.
  • Follow UI testing procedures specifically tailored for mobile applications, ensuring the user interface not only meets functional requirements but also enhances user engagement and ease of use during mobile interactions.
  • Incorporate user feedback and analytics data to iteratively improve mobile UI/UX elements, ensuring ongoing enhancements that cater to user preferences and behaviors within mobile environments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining web applications.
  • Strong Javascript, CSS and HTML skills.
  • Comfortable gathering requirements and determining how to proceed without a ton of oversight.
  • Experience designing and building web applications given rough and sometimes unclear requirements.
  • Comfortable developing on Linux or OSX.
  • Experience with one or more frameworks such as React, Angular or Backbone.
  • Experience with MySQL.
  • Experience with NodeJS.
  • Go and/or Python experience.
