We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our Valmet Automation R&D team in Tampere to develop cutting-edge industrial control system.

In this role you will design and develop web-based configuration toolset for industrial control system configuration and diagnostics using JavaScript/TypeScript and React. You will participate in the agile development process and contribute to the team’s success. The role will also include collaboration with several other cross-functional R&D teams including UX and DevOps.
You will be placed in Tampere where we have strong presence of R&D.

To be successful in this position, you need:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in front-end development
  • Solid knowledge or willingness to learn our main technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and React and Node.js
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, automated testing and CI/CD
