POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior/Mid-level Front-end Developer to join our Product Engineering Team, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Developers to craft high-quality user experiences. Your role will involve crafting clean, scalable, and readable code, prioritizing user-centric design and staying updated on emerging technologies. With a passion for coding and a hunger for skill growth, you’ll have ample opportunities to take ownership, adapt to changing priorities, and make a meaningful impact on our projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, NodeJS, and ReactJS
• Proficiency in building Single Page Applications (SPAs)
• Proficiency in Responsive design
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs
• Solid understanding of browser fundamentals, including native browser APIs, user events, DOM manipulation, cross browser compatibility
• Good understanding of state management principles, including Local vs. Global state, caching, and usage of Store/Reducer and Context API
• Good understanding of Local/Session Storage and Cookies
• Familiarity with usage of component libraries (Bootstrap, Foundation, Material-UI, Custom, etc)
• Skill in decomposing design layouts into modular components to facilitate efficient development and reusability
• Appreciation for writing clean, human-readable code

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be based in the US, ideally in the DFW area

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
