Description:

We are searching for a permanent, part-time (24hrs a week) Front of House Attendant to join our team in the beautiful Barossa Valley – if you have experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, focused on delivering a strong level of customer service, this could be the role for you!
You will join the team at St Hugo and Jacobs Creek, working in our Australian Good Food Guide 2-hatted restaurant, and supporting delivering great experiences in our Wine Lounge and Visitor Centre. This role will also support the delivery of functions and events at St Hugo.

What you will do:

  • Deliver food and wine experiences at the home of St Hugo, with a focus on working front of house in our restaurant
  • Be passionate about wine and able to tailor your customer service delivery whilst having some fun
  • Actively promote our brands and experiences – we have a few but don’t worry in time you will learn them all
  • Get INVOLVED – plenty to learn if you are motivated and interested in development opportunities

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience working in a restaurant with a focus on premium service
  • Ability to think outside the box with a positive can-do attitude
  • Your own flare and passion to interact with visitors to ensure they have a positive experience
  • Eagerness to share our offerings with customers to ensure they know our food and wine options, and walk away with product in hand
  • You will be certified in Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Availability to work over 7-day roster including weekends and occasional evenings
