Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Supervisor at one of the Colleges based in Cambridge CB3.
40 HOURS PER WEEK 5DAYS OUT OF 7 - PERMANENT.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. We have an ethos of using fresh ingredients, and bespoke menus.
We prepare and serve lunch and dinner buffet service, plus formal dinners and fine dining events.

The role would be supporting the General Manager in the day to day running of the front of house department. Ensuring the standards are met throughout daily service, plus running and supporting events. The successful candidate will be organised, and have an attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, food safety and health and safety and standard operation procedure standards are met on a daily basis. As part of the Front of House department, you will be expected to run a Fine Dining event or formal dinner and also communicate and practically organise any staff supporting the event. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar environment or busy restaurant and will have fine dining experience including laying tables and service.
You will also be responsible for great customer service and the desire to bring forward fresh, creative ideas with a can do attitude. You should also be able to demonstrate that you are able to lead and motivate a team and will also complete stock takes and ordering for FoH.
You will have good leadership skills and experience to lead a team during a busy service.
