Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 100 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence across the US, UK APAC region. They specialize in providing brokerage trading solutions across various asset classes such as Options, Futures, Derivatives etc.
They are currently looking for a Front Office Application Support Engineer to join their Technology team. Reporting to Asia CIO, you will be responsible for providing application support for the firm’s front office trading applications across APAC. You will be the main point of contact for stakeholders for high-level critical issues pertaining to all trading applications, such as FIX Connectivity, Market Data, Trading engine etc. You will also be expected to improve operational efficiencies through the use of python and shell scripting.

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Holds at least a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or other related fields of study
• Has at least 4 to 7 years of experience providing application support for front office trading applications running on Linux/Unix environment
• Good experience working on FIX protocol and Market Data
• Strong domain knowledge in Front office asset classes such as Futures, Options, Derivatives etc.
• Experience in engaging with front office business stakeholders including Traders and Portfolio Managers to resolve critical application issues and new project implementations
• Good technical expertise in both python and shell/bash scripting for automation
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and C-level leaders
