REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience at a similar property at the manager level in a busy hotel environment.
  • An outgoing personality and a passion for service
  • Provide superb guest service and have excellent people skills
  • Excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards
  • Have good knowledge or both written and spoken English
  • Be able to multi-task and be willing to help in all areas of the hotel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Be available and flexible for early starts and late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff Supervision: Oversee the front desk team, providing guidance and support in daily operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest interactions, and resolving issues.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, handling complaints or special requests effectively, and monitoring feedback to continuously improve services.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage reservations, monitor room inventory, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services. Maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions efficiently.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of front desk staff, ensuring they are equipped to handle various situations and deliver excellent customer service consistently.
  • Budget and Performance: Monitor financial aspects such as revenue, expenses, and budgets related to the front desk operations. Implement strategies to optimize revenue and control costs while maintaining quality service.
  • Compliance and Procedures: Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Regularly review and update standard operating procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance with changing regulations.
