The Hyatt Centric is delighted to invite applicants for the position of Front Office Supervisor
This is Ireland’s first Hyatt Hotel. Adjacent to St Patrick’s Cathedral, this 234 bedroom 4 Star property will include restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities and fitness centre. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Brand experience would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Opera/ Envision is essential.
  • Excellent written and spoken levels of English.
  • Previous experience in a similar sized property.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of managing the Front Office.
  • Ensure Corporate standards are achieved at all times.
  • Lead the team to ensure confidence, knowledge and expertise required maximising sales and reaching set targets.
  • Ensure an excellent standard of customer care and professionalism are achieved at all times.
  • Train each and every staff member in the department to ensure standards and sales required are met and continually achieved.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running and development of the Reception area, ensuring good organisation, effective and efficient systems, professionalism of staff and service offered, imputing of new policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a first class service to the guests and members at all times.
  • Promote a safe working environment and be aware of Health, Safety and Fire Procedures.
  • Offer the highest level of guest service in the Hotel, ensuring the 4* agreed standards are achieved at all times.
