Reference No. 2024/053. The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Politics, Law, and Economics seeks to fill this position as soon as possible.
The University of Konstanz is one of eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany. Since 2007 it has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and its follow-up programme, the Excellence Strategy.
We seek candidates whose research and teaching activities are in the field of econometrics. An outstanding academic record in applied econometrics and/or in developing econometric methods is desired. Candidates are expected to teach in the field of econometrics and to connect to the research activities of our department as well as to the clusters of excellence.
In all other respects, the hiring requirements for professorships follow from § 47 paragraph 1,2 of the Landeshochschulgesetz.
