Description:

Overview:
Full Stack Developer will be responsible for end to end configuration management for Internal Benchmarking releases. This position will be responsible for data modeling/transformation/integration as well as business intelligence visualization design/development. Position also acts as senior level consultant for both Data Engineers and BI Developers. Internal Benchmarking Full Stack Developer will also be primary lead for (new) solution functionality/POCs for team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business and data requirements and interactively designing visualizations for initial concepts and prototypes that can be present for feedback
  • Extract, analyze, transform and join data from various source systems with different levels of detail, requiring client and product mapping.
  • Develop SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, table and views from multiple sources to provide data to the dashboards allowing for ease of supportability and faster dashboard performance.
  • Proactively identify data quality issues, design and implement data quality checks, and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify solutions.
  • Design and schedule the ETL/ ELT process using Tableau Prep.
  • Design, develop, enhance and support Enterprise Level Dashboards with organizational KPIs and metrics that translate data into Visual insights of business performance across all units and projects that help to drive business decisions in various operational and technical needs for leaders.
  • Manage datasource extracts, refresh schedules and Prep Flows using Tableau Server.
  • Validate Tableau dashboards against the data in the source systems with unit testing, end-to-end and functional testing.
  • Implement and support workbook security and Row-level security and emulate users to test user access permissions.
  • Develop POC dashboards, develop mock data, coordinate with source teams, and provide analysis on source data used in the dashboards.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors providing Tableau extensions and connectors to further enhance dashboard visualizations and connectivity.
  • Contribute to defining Tableau best practices around dashboard and database development, testing, access management and refresh scheduling.
  • Design and develop internal monitoring dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and SQL coding required.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets preferred.
  • Experience with performance tuning with SQL, indexes and table design.
  • Experience with RDBMS (SQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc.) and using SSMS functionality.
  • Ability to analyze complex and varied data sources to plan, architect and support dashboard solutions for executive level dashboards.
  • 3-4 years of experience designing, developing and supporting Business intelligence Dashboards using BI Tools required (Tableau version 2023)
  • 1-2 years of experience designing, developing and supporting Business intelligence dashboards using Power BI (Fabric experience a plus)
  • ETL/ELT experience required – Tableau Prep preferred
  • Ability to quickly understand business and data requirements and participate with team members to design visualizations for initial concepts and prototypes.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau Server components and features required.
  • Experience in connecting to different data sources like SQL, Oracle, Postgres, and Excel files for loading data into tableau desktop for creating Enterprise dashboards.
  • Experience with the Tableau Content Migration tool a plus.
  • Tableau Certification a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau Extensions and connectors including 3rd party tools a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively with various stakeholders from data analysts to senior level executives.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly determine root cause and propose solutions.

Base compensation ranges from $112,500 to $137,500 per hour. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
