K Group’s BHI (Building and Home Improvement) eCom team is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer. Maybe you are looking for a change of scenery, or perhaps an accomplished junior who feels you are ready to take on a large system with multiple deployments. • Microservice architectures
• Software architecture planning
• Strategic planning related to maintaining a system long term
• Meta frameworks such as Next.js and Remix
• Cloud-based deployment platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku
• Web software monitoring tools such as Datadog or DynaTrace
• Implementing A/B testing
• Implementing automated end-to-end tests
• Working with SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing database performance and designing database schemas
• Containerization using Docker
• Customer journey- and conversion optimization
• Design thinking and UX
• ERP and/or CRM process development
• Hardware retail or building contractor experience may help you better understand our customers!

YOUR ROLE AS A DEVELOPER

As a full-stack developer in the team you will be contributing to the team’s backlog. When not writing (or reading) code, you’re coordinating with the rest of the team and our stakeholders. You don’t just develop your own code, but also review code from other team members, and take part in improving our development practices. You also support your team’s PO in maintaining and refining the backlog.

Our team’s responsibilities :

• Developing and maintaining web applications and services using React and Node.js
• Interacting with our stakeholders in a multinational environment
• Collaborating with designers and other developers to build high quality user interfaces
• Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Ensuring our applications are fast, scalable and responsive
• Building and maintaining APIs using Node.js
• Managing data storage and retrieval using services such as PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch
• Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge within the team
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments in web technologies
• Contributing to our team’s and K Group’s software development practice
