About Parameta Solutions
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and capable Full-Stack Engineer who wants to make a real impact and build experiences they can be proud of. We work in a collaborative, fast paced environment where you will design, build and deploy both internal tooling and client-facing applications. We prize team members who can take a complex project and work autonomously with key stakeholders to understand requirements and build the right solution.

The key technologies the team uses include:

  • React, Typescript, tRPC, OpenAPI+Codegen, Nx, and Node.js
  • Java, Spring, Hibernate
  • AWS, Terraform, Lambda, Aurora, Kubernetes
  • Snowflake, Postgres, Airflow
  • Okta + OIDC
  • Figma, GitLab

Role Responsibilities

  • Able to wireframe and design good quality UI/UX experiences.
  • Own projects from inception to deployment and through future iteration.
  • Debugging, and contributing to unit, integration, and e2e tests.
  • Willing to learn Java/Spring/Hibernate to contribute to our backend systems when necessary, and even better if you already know this
  • Database design and best practices
  • Build and improve CI/CD processes
  • Contribute to our documentation and best practices
  • Adherence to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with operational risk requirements (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements)

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Several years of industry experience in a developer role using React, Typescript, and Node.js
  • Able to write clean, scalable, and performant code.
  • Experienced in taking the lead on software development projects.

Desired

  • Interest in web applications.
  • Java/Spring/Hibernate experience.
  • Ability to pick up new skills and technologies quickly as our stack evolves.
  • Interested in or maybe even experienced with cloud architecture and IaC.
