Description:

Are you looking for exciting projects and motivated by both developing and implementing new technologies? Then join our Experience team at LEGO House and contribute to creating even greater guest experiences in our pre- and post-experience team.
LEGO House is a LEGO Brand House, and we need to keep dreaming bigger. We are committed to continue developing experiences that raise the boundaries for how kids and guests learn through playing with LEGO Bricks. Doing this, we also keep developing experiences that are second to none while maintaining focus on the experience journey.
Become a part of the pre- and post-experience team
Join the pre- and post-experience product team, responsible for providing our guests with a smooth and engaging journey before and after their visit to LEGO House. We believe that a good guest experience starts from the moment you start planning your visit to LEGO House and continues when you get home. This includes our ticketing system, memories service, and website.
In relation to these platforms, the product team owns the development and integration of new features and functionalities aligned with business goals. The team works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
In this role, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Core Responsibilities

  • System Integrations Architecture: Establish prerequisites for API interactions, define API interfaces between systems, identify and define data entities within the domain, design and implement a data lifecycle management strategy from inception to termination, and ensure resilient data exchange among systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams both within and outside The LEGO Group to facilitate the successful realization of the data lifecycle.
  • Product teamwork: Collaborate with product teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that improve customer interaction and operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on software development: Web technologies, API development, configuration of SaaS solutions, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum user satisfaction.
  • Implement data security protocols to protect company and user data.

Full-Stack Web Developer
As our new Senior Experience Engineer, you possess previous experience and solid knowledge in the development of web frontend and backend. You have experience and understanding of both planning and executing.
Furthermore, you have hands-on experience with modern web development practices and tools such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, GitHub Actions, PaaS (Azure/AWS), serverless functions, RESTful/graph APIs, Azure Application Insights/Google Analytics, relational and non-relational databases.
You don’t need to tick all the boxes for hands-on experience, but you possess an understanding of all of them and their role in the technology landscape.
Most importantly, you possess a value-based working style with a customer-centric focus. You are capable of solving problems with a focus on bringing value to the guest, the team, and the culture.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with web development.
  • Experience in SaaS platforms, with a focus on ticketing and entry management systems, would be advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of database management and basic principles of data security.
  • Positive collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and preferably Danish.

What’s in it for you? Here are some of what to expect:

  • Family Care Leave – We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.
  • Insurances – All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.
