Full-stack Developer

Envision & design future experiences! As a Full-Stack Developer at Steelcase, you’ll be a key player in designing experiences that will enable us to delight our customers in everything we do. You will envision new and better ways to create value through the use of digital capabilities that provide seamless and inspiring customer experiences.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• 2 years of experience with full-stack development, building real-world applications.
• Front-end fluency: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / TypeScript (Vue.js, React, or similar framework).
• Back-end mastery: C#, Python, Node.js, or similar language (ASP.NET Core, Flask, or similar framework).
• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar, and their querying languages.
• ORM, Authentication, and App Deployment experience.
• Version control proficiency: Git or similar system.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to break down challenges, find solutions, and think critically.
• Communication and teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with people from different locations and cultures, share ideas clearly, and work towards common goals.
• Eager and willing to learn modern technologies: Exploration, proactivity, and curiosity are key.
• Professional business English, both spoken and written.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Cloud platform experience: Azure (ecosystem, components, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, etc.).
• Basic design ability: including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.
• Figma experience: transition from wireframes to applications.
• CSS frameworks: Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap etc.
• Tool and service pricing understanding.
