Full Stack Engineer (Angular/SQL)
Position Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of our web applications, utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.
Key Skills: Spring Boot, Java, Messaging Services (Kafka), AWS EC2 / EKS, Angular, Web Containers (Docker), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), SQL, Object Relational Mapping (ORM).

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces using Angular framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure responsiveness and user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Implement interactive features and functionalities using Angular features and libraries.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Design and implement efficient database structures using SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in both front-end and back-end development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of back-end development principles and experience with at least one back-end language.
  • Experience with SQL databases and familiarity with writing efficient queries.
  • Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

This role must be located in Knoxville, TN.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,600- $132,200.
