Full Stack Java / Angular Developer
Position Description
CGI is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer proficient in Java and Angular to join our dynamic team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients’ needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code with our financial client.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Developing application code & unit tests in Java, Angular, and related technologies
- Leading and collaboration on efforts in in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software.
- Communication with client stakeholders
- Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Iterative feature development on an agile team.
- Developing testable features with lean requirements and supervision.
- Daily agile SCRUM participation
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3+ years’ experience a Java / Angular developer
- Strong aptitude for learning on the fly, embracing new technologies, and willingness to make stretch goals
- Strong experience with Java development
- Exposure and ideally experience with Springboot and Microservices
- Experience with Microservices development
- Strong experience of writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Experience with GIT version control
- Experience with Jenkins and Pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
