FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The Full Stack Software Engineer to join a fast growing UK risk and technology advisory firm serving the capital and commodity clients, supporting sales in the production of proof of concept software and supporting the firm’s technology. This is a varied role where you will interact with expert colleagues, clients and partners to achieve common goals and deliver outstanding software solutions. You may be developing helping with the visualisation of complex data, building front-end UI, designing user interaction, enhancing and building new backend capabilities and ensuring that the products we build work across a wide array of different platforms.
The developer will be surrounded by equally capable people who are both eager and happy to work together to constantly deliver excellent software, while maintaining both a great client relationship and progressing one’s skills and career.

KEY SKILLS

• Attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent software.
• Understanding business requirements and requesting clarification where required.
• Estimating effort and time for the requested designs and business requirements.
• Participate and provide feedback in agile ceremonies.
• Implementation of the designed specification into code.
• Ensuring that the systems developed are as correct as possible through rigorous testing.
• Review and provide feedback against designs and developed code to by other team members.
• Mentor and assist other team members
• Research new solutions and techniques to further elevate the currently delivered product

EXPERIENCE

• 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in the following technologies – SQL Server, .NET, HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Angular / Automated Testing / REST / Git / CI-CD
• Experience in software architecture.
• .NET and angular best practices and modern concepts
• Good understanding and application of Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• General cloud principles.
