JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
- 5+ years of software development experience
HANDS ON PROGRAMING EXPERIENCE WITH JAVA/J2EE, REACT, SPRING BOOT, SPARK /SCALA
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
- Strong experience in API design, patterns and best-practices in REST, JSON, Microservices, etc.
- Knowledge of data management principles.
- Experience working with the following cloud platforms – AWS and Azure
- Experience working with relational databases (Oracle).
- Knowledge in agile methodologies and software development life cycle
- The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

- Experience providing technical leadership and educating other developers for best practices on application design and development
