Description:

Trexquant is a growing systematic fund with a core team of highly accomplished researchers and engineers. To support our rapid growth and streamline our pipeline of trading ideas to production, Trexquant is thoroughly revamping and optimizing our quant platform. We are seeking a technically adept Full Stack Software Engineer with a design-first mindset to reimagine and help develop this platform. You will work alongside industry leading quants, researchers, strategists, and portfolio managers to build a cutting-edge system that will power billions of dollars in trades across global asset classes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields
  • 1+ years of professional experience in designing and developing full stack applications.
  • Experience and proficiency in Typescript, NextJs, GraphQL, Figma and related technologies, and at least one backend language such as C# or Python.
  • Prior experience in application deployment best practices, agile development, and rapid prototyping.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in front-end design and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a production ready web application using modern web frameworks like Next JS.
  • Collaborate with researchers to create compelling user journeys that expand the possibilities of quantitative trading.
  • Guarantee design cohesion in our systems by leveraging Figma and other design tools.
  • Ensure performance and cross-browser compatibility of our platform.
  • Lead strategy and implementation for how to enhance our integrations between all our trading stages – what stack do we use to support our agile work.
