Our mission is to empower students to excel in mathematics through personalised tutoring and a deep understanding of the Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus.
Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary School Math Tutor who is well-versed with the MOE syllabus for both A and E-Math and has a few years of teaching experience in both subjects. The ideal candidate will be able to provide engaging and effective one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to secondary school students, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in mathematics and achieve academic success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably in secondary school education.
• Strong understanding of the MOE syllabus for secondary school mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Familiarity with educational technology and resources for enhancing learning outcomes.
• Minimum of 1 year commitment
• Able to work 3 weekdays and 1 weekend

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching certification or relevant tutoring qualifications.
• Experience in preparing students for national examinations (e.g., O Levels, N Levels).

• Conduct individualized or small group math tutoring sessions for secondary school students.
• Create and implement personalized lesson plans based on the MOE syllabus and students’ learning needs.
• Assist students in understanding mathematical concepts, solving problems, and preparing for examinations.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly to adjust tutoring strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Stay updated with changes and developments in the MOE syllabus and curriculum guidelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage growth and improvement in mathematical skills.
